CALL TO ORDER: This meeting was called to order at 6:04pm 2. Williams Absent: 2 - Member Maribel Montanez Member Michael Putkowski 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA: A. Minutes of October 30, 2018. Motion by Eric James, seconded by Patricia Ulicny-Hoback, to approved Minutes of October 30, 2018. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 8 - Chair James, Vice Chair Ulicny-Hoback, Member Pena-Castaldi, Member Daniels, Member Diaz, Member Strano, Member Battle-White and Member Williams 4. PRESENTATIONS/AWARDS/REPORTS: Mrs. Briggs stated that Mr. Paradise would not be attending this meeting and that Mr. Paradise has received a promotion to Director of Planning and Development Services. Introduction of Community Development Staff, Rebecca Perdue and Damaris Miranda to board members. Introduced Damaris Miranda as the Secretary for the AHAC Committee. PUBLIC FORUM: Time permitted, public comment shall be permitted at the end of agenda items only and shall not exceed two minutes. 6. OLD BUSINESS: 7. NEW BUSINESS: A. SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) 2019-2022. Mrs. Briggs provided the AHAC Committee with a copy of the Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) for review. Staff and Committee agreeded on reviewing the high-lighted items on the LHAP at the meeting. Mrs. Briggs stated that the turn around for the LHAP was quick and would be going to the Commission in April. Mrs. Briggs requested that the Committee review the LHAP, make suggestions to solidify for the next meeting and email Mrs. Miranda with any questions. Mrs. Briggs stated that she received a letter from SHIP in Tallahassee stating that they would like the AHAC Committee to be more active. SHIP requested Committee member emails in order to contact them directly so they can assist in setting up members for SHIP webinars. SHIP also want's to provide the Committee with instructions on how to address State Representatives to stress upon them the need for them fully funding SHIP. Committee members getting more involved with City events 8. STAFF COMMENTS: Mrs. Briggs would be checking on the availability of The Center for AHAC meetings for the 3 months of which the 2nd. Floor Conference Room isn't going to be available. Mrs. Briggs also brought up that we may want to change the AHAC meetings to every other month or quarterly. 9. BOARD/COMMITTEE MEMBERS COMMENTS: Member Eric Strano stated that this would be his last meeting. Member Mike Williams provided a flyer from the Alumni Association for a Gala at the Hilton in Daytona on March 30, 2019. Member Patricia Hoback congratulated Mrs. Briggs on running a great meeting. Patricia also stated that she was a YMCA Associate Chairmen volunteer and that they were having a huge garage sale on March 1st. and March 2nd. Patricia also stated that she dropped off flyers to Jane and the Commission. Member Eric James stated we had a great meeting and that he was sad to see Mr. Strano go. Eric also stated that he's trying to get more involved with City events. 10.
