CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 9:00 am. 2. ROLL CALL: Also present: Mark Edgil, Fire Safety; Dinelia Santana, Planning and Development Services; Rev. Bill Hicks, Senior Pastor for Four Towns Community Church and David Dayton. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA: A. Minutes of July 19, 2018. Motion by Leigh Grosvenor, seconded by Jerry Mayes, to accept the Minutes of July 19, 2018. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 5 - Member Chavez, Member Grosvenor, Member Mayes, Member Paradise and Chair Wallace 4. PRESENTATIONS/AWARDS/REPORTS: 5. NEW BUSINESS: City of Deltona Page 1 Printed on 8/13/2018 Development Review Committee Minutes August 2, 2018 A. Pre-application meeting - 3300 Red Fox Run. Pastor Bill Hicks and Mr. Dayton provided the Committee with a summary of their request. Mr. Dayton stated that the church is requesting a metal shipping container for storage use. Member Paradise stated the structure is regulated as a metal building and must be screened and painted an earth tone with a roof line similar to the existing structure. This request can be submitted as an abbreviated site plan review and must provide a “to scale” drawing depicting the exact location of the proposed structure and can add a façade to the top to mirror the gable of the existing structure. Pastor Hicks inquired about a similar structure that does not appear to have meet these requirements. Mr. Paradise informed the applicant that the City believed that was an unpermitted structure that maybe currently with the Code Enforcement Department for action. Pastor Hicks wanted the Committee to know that they desire to spend as little as possible, but Ms. Grosvenor advised that the structure itself may already meet the wind load requirements, but the façade must also meet the local wind load requirements. Pastor Hicks advised the only things to be stored in the structure would be church items - such as extra chairs, tables, supplies, lawn equipment, etc. Chairperson Wallace indicated that the net new impervious was de minimis and therefore would not require any modification to their stormwater conveyance. 8.
