Hickory After determining that a quorum is present, the Economic Development Partnership Board of the City of Denton, Texas, will convene in a Work Session on Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Public Safety Training Facility, Conference Room A at City Hall East, 719 E. Hickory Street, Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered: 1. WORK SESSION A. EDP16-058 Receive a report, hold a discussion, and make a recommendation to the City Council regarding an incentive request from 1512 I-35 W, LLC for a new construction project. Following the completion of the Work Session, the Economic Development Partnership Board will convene in a Closed Meeting to consider specific items when these items are listed below under the Closed Meeting section of this agenda. The Economic Development Partnership Board reserves the right to adjourn into a Closed Meeting on any item on its open meeting agenda consistent with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, or as otherwise allowed by law. 1. CLOSED MEETING A. EDP16-059 Deliberations regarding Economic Development Negotiations - Under Texas Government Code Section 551.087. Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding a proposed tax abatement agreement between the City of Denton and 1512 I-35 W, LLC. This discussion shall include commercial and financial information the City Council has received from 1512 I-35 W, LLC, a business prospect which the City Council seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the city, and with which the Economic Development Partnership Board is conducting economic development negotiations; deliberate the tax abatement agreement between the City of Denton and 1512 I-35 W, LLC. Following the completion of the Closed Meeting, the Economic Development Partnership Board will convene in a Regular Meeting at which the following items will be considered: 1. REGULAR MEETING A. EDP16-060 Staff Reports: 1. Chamber of Commerce October 2016 EDP Activity Report 2. Update on City Council’s October 11, 2016, discussion of the Downtown Reinvestment Grant Program 3.
