IN THE COUNCIL WORK SESSION ROOM After determining that a quorum is present, the Historic Landmark Commission of the City of Denton, Texas will convene in a Work Session on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas, at which the following items will be considered: WORK SESSION 1. Work Session Report A. ID 19-1608 The Historic Landmark Commission will be asked to participate in a Historic Preservation Plan Exercise to provide input for the City of Denton's new Historic Preservation Plan. (ID19-1608, Roman McAllen) B. ID 19-1636 Receive a report and hold discussion regarding House Bill 2496, a bill pertaining to the designation of historic landmarks. (ID 19-1636, Roman McAllen) Attachments: Exhibit 1 - Agenda Information Sheet Exhibit 2 - House Bill No. 2496 Exhibit 3 - Bill Analysis provided by the Senate Research Center Following the completion of the Work Session, the Historic Landmark Commission will convene in a Regular Meeting on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E.
