MEDIA Advisory – Council & Board Attendance at Focus Groups in September and October City Council meetings are open for the public to attend and speak in person at meetings inside the Council Room at City Hall, 611 N. Mulberry Rd. Those who wish to speak during the Public Forum may sign up to do so by contacting the City Clerk’s office at 316-788-3132 or via email to CityClerk@DerbyWeb.com. Meetings are broadcast live on Cox Cable Channel 7 and on the City’s website at http://derbyks.com/406/Channel-7. Derby City Council Members and members of City Boards have been invited to attend the following: • City Council meetings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 and Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in the City Hall Council Room, 611 N. Mulberry Rd. • Members of the ADA Advisory Board, Community Development Advisory Board, Library Board, Parks & Urban Forestry Board, and Senior Services Advisory Board have been invited to take part in a focus group for the City’s Community Survey on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 4 p.m. at the Council Room at City Hall, 611 N. Mulberry Rd. 512 E. Madison Avenue. • Members of the City Council, City Boards or Commissions may be in attendance at a focus group for the General Public as part of the City’s Community Survey on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pavilion, 512 E. Madison Avenue. • Members of the City Council have been invited to take part in a Tri- Government meeting with members of the USD 260 Board of Education and the Derby Recreation Commission Board as part of a focus group for local governing entities as part of the City’s Community Survey on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Hubbard Arts Center.
