Dee Williams reminded the Board that the Advisory Board Applications need to be turned in by Thursday March 20th. RE: Tornado Drill. Dee explained that when the weather is bad staff will be watching weather updates and will inform patrons. The Library Community room is the designated shelter for the senior center. Agenda Item #2 RE: Advisory Board Fund report for January and February 2014. Kim Hart stated the expenses were $562.07, revenue was $852.24, and the ending balance in January was $15,710.05. February expenses came to $829.78; revenue came to $433.74 with an ending account balance of $15,314.01. MOTION: Gerald Brownlee moved to receive and file the Advisory Board Fund report for January and February 2014. Marilyn Newkold seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #3 RE: Approval of the Minutes from the January 2014 Advisory Board Meeting. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion the minutes from January 2014 be approved. Gerald Brownlee seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. 1 Agenda Item #4 RE: Derby Dash Scholarship Fund Report. Dee Williams reviewed the Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report; There were $80 in scholarships used in January and $60 in February. The balance in the Derby Dash Scholarship Fund at the end of February was $767. MOTION: Tom Davidson moved to receive and file the January and February 2014 Derby Dash Scholarship Fund report. Gerald Brownlee seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried Agenda Item #5 RE: March TNT (Chicken & Noodles). Tom Davidson reported the March TNT final had 68 in attendance. Kim Hart let the Board know she will have the report at the April Board Meeting. The February TNT will be Baked Port Tenderloin. Agenda Item #6 RE: Advisory Board Donation Letter. Dee Williams stated the funds deposited from the Donations letter totaled $9,039. Discussion was held. Agenda Item #7 RE: Crock Pot Thank You Card. Dee Williams asked the Board to sign a thank you card for the crock pots donated by Janeen Powers. Agenda Item #8 RE: Recumbent Bike. Dee Williams informed the Board that the new recumbent bike has been delivered and set up in the Fitness Room. Agenda Item #9 RE: DHS After Prom Celebration. Dee reminded the Board they donated $150 last year. 2 MOTION: Gerald Brownlee moved the Board donate $150 to the DHS After Prom Celebration. Tom Davidson seconded. VOTE: 5 yea, motion carried. Agenda Item #10 RE: Active Aging Newsletter. Dee Williams stated she received a letter from the Active Aging Newsletter asking for a donation. In the past, the Board has contributed $100 per year. MOTION: Jim Burgess made a motion for the Board to donate $100 to the Active Aging Newsletter. Tom Davidson seconded.
