The trees were removed, and all violations were corrected. Please see the before and after photos below.  Compliance Officer Messer responded to a service request at 68140 Calle Las Tiendas. Large accumulation of junk, trash and household items being stored at the rear of the property. Officer Messer sent out a courtesy Notice of Violation, a final notice of violation and an Administrative Citation. After granting an extension, a re-inspection of the property was preformed, and all violations have been corrected and the case was closed. Please see the before and after photos below.  Compliance Officer Messer inspected Parcel 641-021-023 on Acoma Ave. The property was found to violate several public nuisance codes. He issued a courtesy notice of violation to the property owner and upon re-inspection, all violations were corrected, and the case was closed. This does not represent total response times for all units only the first unit in. Truck Report recorded 0 responses in from 10/1/2021 to 10/31/2021 Significant Incidents 21CARRU138733 On , CAL Fire/ Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of a residential structure fire at the above address, First Unit at scene reported a single story,single family dewelling with smoke showing from the garage. With an aggressive attack from the first two engine companies crews were able to confine the fire to the garage with no extension into the residence. Due to damage to electrical the meter will have to be pulled and building and saftey will have to respond. Occupants will be displaced due to no power. 21CARRU148706 On , CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire in an abandoned three story hotel at the above address. The first arriving company officer reported heavy smoke showing from the exterior, the responding battalion chief requested a second alarm. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room of origin with no extension into any of the adjacent rooms. With the quick containment of the fire to the room of origin the second alarm was canceled. Desert Hot Springs Police has requested code enforcement to respond to the scene for an assessment. Southern California Edison responded to the scene and isolated power to the room of origin. No firefighters and or civilians were injured. 21CARRU160774 On , CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department responded to a report of a motorhome fire located in a homeless encampment south of the intersection of Two Bunch Palms and West Drive in the city of Desert Hot Springs. The first arriving engine reported one motorhome fully involved with extension into another vehicle and surrounding debris. The occupant of the motorhome suffered first degree burns to the ears as he fled from the fire. The occupant of the motorhome was treated on scene and declined transport to a local hospital.
