Page 1 of 2 Page 12 of 22  Truck Report T33 recorded 1 responses in City of Desert Hot Springs from 1/1/2024 1:43:30 PM to 3/31/2024 1:43:30 PM Significant Incidents 23CARRU032764 CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at the Serrano Residential Care Facility. While responding, additional 911 reports were received 3/2/2024 12:25:00PM advising of a possible structure fire. The first arriving Fire Department resource advised of a single-story residential care facility with a fire to the rear of the facility. Due to high winds the fire spread from an exterior fire into the structure. All occupant's self-evacuated and the City of Desert Hot Springs Building and Safety was at scene working on with the facility staff to evaluate occupancy status. 23CARRU033432 CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources were dispatched to a reported outside fire in the area of the Two Bunch Palms Wellness Hotel and Hot Springs Resort. The first arriving Fire 3/3/2024 6:06:00PM Department resource found a fire in a 1/2 acre mulch field threatening a solar panel field and potentially impacting the hotel and resort due to high winds. Additional Fire Department resources were requested, including a Water Tender and the Riverside County Fire Department Dozer 39, and firefighters were able to minimize the threats and extinguish the fire. Desert Hot Springs Police Department is notifying the City Code Enforcement for follow-up of possible illegal dumping. 24CARRU000385 CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the area of 66100 Mission Lakes Blvd. As Fire Department resources worked to 1/1/2024 3:40:00PM gain access to the fire, updated 911 reports advised of the fire in an outbuilding in the alley behind 66113 Avenida Ladera. The first arriving Fire Engine Company Officer located and reported a small storage structure fully engulfed with flames which had spread into several trees and was threatening additional structures. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the building and trees and were committed for several hours. 24CARRU002910 CALFIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources were dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at 65238 Two Bunch Palms Trail in the city of Desert Hot Springs. The first arriving 1/6/2024 11:52:00PM unit reported light smoke coming from a regulated marijuana grow building. Upon investigation the engine company found a 20' x 40' grow room with the contents involved. The fire was extinguished and contained to the contents in the room. Fire department resources will remain on scene for about an hour for smoke removal. City officials have been notified. 24CARRU031730 CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources were dispatched to a reported multi-unit residential structure fire in the 13000 block of Verbenia Ave. The first arriving Fire Department 2/29/2024 1:42:00PM resource reported smoke emitting from a single-story duplex. Working with Officers from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, Firefighters were able to ensure the occupants of both residences were evacuated and that the resident's pets were safely out of the fire area. The fire was contained to a bedroom with minimal damage to the living areas. Desert Hot Springs Building and Safety were at the scene working with the residents. 24CARRU033498 CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department resources reported a fire in the open area of Two Bunch Palms Trail near Verbena Drive. The first arriving Fire Department resource reported a large 3/3/2024 8:40:00PM spot of vegetation burning in high wind conditions at a rapid rate with a potential for several acres. Quick containment and suppression actions utilizing the Riverside County Fire Department Dozer 39 contained the fire to one-half acre.
