Community and Government Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes Monday, September 8, 2025 6:00 PM Present: Councilpersons Ben Bell, Elizabeth Wyckoff, Connor O"Hanlon, and Larry Browne, as well as Parks and Recreation Director Caitlin Hernandez, and Borough ManagerJohn Davis. ApprovalofJune2025Minutes. Minuteswereapprovedassubmitted. Youth Leadership Award. Caitlin shared details on the nomination process. The Committee decided to accept nominations at the start of the school year rather than in the Spring, as they have in previous years. Economic Development Report. Caitlin reviewed several commercial vacancies in the Borough, as well as a handful of new and changing businesses. Social Media Report. Caitlin reviewed the continued increase in social media interaction on all platforms and positive feedback on the Borough's activities. New/Old Business. Perkasie resident Renee Kleppinger attended the meeting to request the Borough formally stand against the way ICE is conducting their job, should a resolution come up for discussion.
