Commission members in attendance included Chris May, Kayvon Tabatabai, Jean Weston, and Baldev Lamba. Also present were Borough Arborist Bob McMullin, Karyn Hyland, Director of Building and Zoning, Grant Rowe, Sustainability Coordinator and Director of Public Works, Dave Burger. Call to Order: Chris May called the meeting to order at 6:30pm Approval of Minutes: The August 2025 minutes were approved. (WESTON/TABATABAI) Subdivision/Land Development: None Tree Applications: 1. 339 Doyle Street, Michael & Marlene Krams, Property Owner. Homeowner was requested to be present during this meeting to discuss their permit. They did not attend pushing the application review to the next meeting. The homeowner is encouraged to attend in October. 2. 238 E. Court Street, Nate Jackson, Property Owner. The homeowner was in attendance and withdrew his application to remove the tree after the commission was able to explain the benefits of having this tree, specifically a Holly tree. Chris May made recommendations to prune and fertilize the tree. 3. 114 E. Ashland Street, Ben Magyar, Property Owner. The homeowner was in attendance. The commission recommended approval . Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 6. 734 N. Chubb Drive, Jennifer Nasal, Property Owner. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 7. 208 Harvey Avenue, John and Edward Mack, Property Owners. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 8. 251 Belmont Avenue, Marcia Durgin, Property Owner. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 9. 43 Pearl Drive, Kevin Lynott, Property Owner. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 10. 371 Linden Avenue, Robert Kienzle, Property Owner. The homeowner was in attendance. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 11. 41 Pearl Drive, Douglas Noll, Property Owner. Recommended approval (LAMBA/WESTON) 12. 60 N. Clinton Street. David MacCann from ATS Tree service attended on behalf of the homeowner and neighbor. The commission asked for a letter from the neighbors prior to recommending the approval. Bacterial Leaf Scorch seems to be a little less this year, Bob is continuing to monitor and work with different manufactures to determine the best methods for treatment. Public Comment.
