Public Safety Committee Meeting (Rescheduled From 06/04/2025)

Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes Wednesday, June 12, 2025 6:00 p.m. Present: Councilperson Larry Browne. Also in attendance were Borough Fire Marshal Scott Fleischer, CBRPD Chief Karl Knott, Borough Council President Jack O'Brien, and Borough Manager John Davis. The Minutes of the May meeting were approved as submitted. East Street Traffic Calming. John briefly reviewed the previous discussions on this topic. After reviewing several possible solutions at the last meeting, it was agreed that a double center line with a two foot shoulder on the South side and a five foot bike lane on the North side provided the best solution. Neighbors were notified of this possible resolution, and their input was requested. No one responded with the exception of Erin Malone, who has been involved in the discussion from the beginning. Resident Ann Welsh, 187 East Street, shared her support of this change and shared the support of several of her neighbors. CBRPC Report (Mayor). Mayor West was not in attendance. Old/New Business.
