Members of the commission in attendance were: Jean Weston, Chris May, Lisa Moscherosch, and Kayvon Tabatabai. Also in attendance were Borough Arborist Bob McMullin, Building & Zoning Director, Karyn Hyland, Park and applicants Michelle Berrong, David Batter, Carolyn Penglase, Teresa Valdez. Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm Approval of Minutes: The May minutes were approved by those in attendance. (WESTON/MAY) Subdivision/Land Development: None Tree Applications: 1. 389 Lincoln Avenue, Robert Held, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MOSCHEROSCH/MAY) 2. 277 Paine Street, Yuehua Huang, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MOSCHEROSCH/MAY) 3. 277 Maple Avenue, Michelle Berrong, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MAY/WESTON) 4. 13 Easthill Drive, Andrew & Sherry Cordery, Property Owners. DENIED with provisions for further assessment and further review at the next meeting. The Commission encourages the applicant to attend the next meeting. (MOSCHEROSCH/WESTON) 5. 299 Maple Avenue, Sara Webster, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MOSCHEROSCH/MAY) 6. 417 E. State Street, Min Kang, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MOSCHEROSCH/MAY) 7. 540 Maple Avenue, Carolyn Penglase, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MAY/WESTON) 8. 250 Hillendale Drive, Daniel Carchedi, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (MOSCHEROSCH/MAY) 9. 223 Union Street, Teresa Valdez, Property Owner. Recommended Approval (WESTON/MAY) Old/New Business: 1. Street Tree Planting Status Review. All of the trees for the spring plantings have been installed. All trees remaining to be planted this season will be planted on Borough-owned property. Residents have access to the QR code and can request a tree for their home. The commission will start planning dates for the fall plantings. 2. Sandy Ridge: Street Tree Succession Planting. Discussed possibility of planting on HOA property. The commission should meet with the HOA to discuss location and species for fall plantings. Since some areas may be on HOA owned property, further approval may be needed. Reports: 1. Chairperson Report: None 2. Arborist’s Report: Bob is continuing to monitor the Oak Trees for Bacterial Leaf Scorch.
