Borough of Doylestown Zoning & Planning Committee Meeting Minutes Meeting Date: Monday, August 12, 2024 Scheduled Time: 7:00 PM, Borough Council Chambers Members present were Jennifer Jarret, Ben Bell, and Dennis Livrone. As well as Karyn Hyland, Director of Zoning, and Borough Planning Commission Chair James Lannon. Also in attendance was Jay Pasi a resident of Buckingham Township. Call to Order The meeting of the Zoning & Planning Committee was held on Monday, August 12, 2024, and was called to order by Ms. Jarret at 7:00 PM. Review and Approval of Minutes Minutes from the July 8, 2024 meeting were approved as submitted. (Livrone/Bell) Zoning Hearing Board • ZHB #2024-14: 542 Maple Avenue, Carolyn Penglase, Property Owner Ms. Hyland reviewed the scope of the applications with the Committee. The Committee did not make a recommendation for representation by the Borough Solicitor. HARB Recommendations Sign Applications • 46 E. State Street, Unit H, Robert McKenna/Wizarding Ways and More, Applicant Building Applications • 85 W. Ashland Street, Maggie McDevitt, Applicant - Windows • 387 Lincoln Avenue, Andrew and Allison Hamilton, Property Owners – Garage Roof • 116 Mary Street, Richard Kapusta and Co., Jennie Kluesner, Consultants – Addition/Renovation • 132 W. Oakland Avenue, Ralph C. Fey, Architect – Addition/Renovation • 154 W. Oakland Avenue, Ralph C. Fey, Architect – Addition/Renovation • 67 N. Church Street, Home Genius Exteriors, Applicant – Exterior Renovation • 34 W. State Street, Mark Residential Engineering, Consultants – Exterior Renovation Ms. Hyland reviewed the applications, which were recommended for approval by the HARB. The Committee voted unanimously to forward these to the Borough Council for approval. (Bell/Livrone) Subdivision and Land Development: None Ordinances, Amendments & Resolutions: None New/Old Business: • Comprehensive Plan Update – Mr. Lannon summarized discussions from the most recent planning commission meeting and what he expects at the next upcoming meeting.
