I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Purcell calls the meeting to order at 6:12 pm and takes roll call. Present: Mayor
Todd Purcell; Council Member Charles Busbey; Council Member Santos Alba; Council
Member John Kroll. Council Member Wade King arrives at 6:30 pm. Also present are
City Administrator Michelle Fischer, Planning Director Jon Thompson, and consultants
for the Sustainable Place Project. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Bill Foulds.
II. WORKSHOP - Joint Session with DSISD Board of Trustees
No Action To Be Taken:
A. Dripping Springs Sustainable Places Project Update, Jim Adams, McCann Adams
Studio-Mr. Adams gives an overview of the Sustainable Places Project (slideshow
presentation on file). He discusses the conceptual ideas for properties in the
demonstration site area owned by the City of Dripping Springs and the Dripping
Springs School District. He asks Council Members and School Board Members
to send Chad Coburn any questions or comments they have about the draft
project.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION-none.

B. Regular Parks & Recreation Meeting, September 9, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
C. Regular Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting, August 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
D. Regular Historic Preservation Commission Meeting, September 9, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.
V. ADJOURN-Council Member Busbey makes a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council
Member Kroll. VOTE: all in favor. The motion passes and the meeting is adjourned at
6:59 pm.
