MINUTES CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, January 8, 2013 10:00 a.m. City Hall 511 Mercer Street Dripping Springs, Texas This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Marianne Simmons, Chair Gina Gillis Kambra Bolch Gouri Johannsen Danny Turner Sandy Pedrazas Jo Ann Touchstone, Secretary Thomas Brownson Jo Ann chairs meeting for Marianne. Meeting called to order at 10:00 a.m. All present except Gina Gillis, Danny Turner and Gouri Johannsen. Also present Market Manager Carolyn Hodges. II. PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit as necessary. None. III. MINUTES A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, December 11, 2012 – No action taken. IV. REPORTS A. Vendor Feedback from 2012 Season Survey – Market Manager Jo Ann Touchstone – Vendor feedback was positive for Wednesdays and later hours, mostly. V. BUSINESS Discussion and Possible Action regarding: A. Set 2013 Season Dates, Times and Location – Kambra motions to approve Wednesdays, 3-7 pm at Triangle from March 20 through December 18. Jo Ann seconds. Motion passes, 5-0. B. Planning for 2013 Season 1. Advertising – Jo Ann motions to purchase two banners (approx. $100 each), apply for sign permit to Walgreens reader board ($25), spend $150 on KDRP radio spots, and print flyers and table tops. Thomas seconds. Motion passes, 5- 0. 2. Signage – Banner will hang at 12/290 and will order second banner to hang at sport fields. 3. Partnerships with Local Food Establishments – Marianne will meet with Fabienne to further ideas for table top promotion and market promotions. VI. ANNOUNCEMENTS A.
