FARMERS MARKET ASSOCIATION
REGULAR MEETING
Tuesday, July 9, 2013

I. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Marianne Simmons, Chair Gina Gillis Kambra Bolch
Gouri Johannsen Sandy Pedrazas Vacancy
Jo Ann Touchstone, Secretary Thomas Brownson
Marianne calls meeting to order at 10:10 p.m. All present except Gina Gillis and Thomas
Brownson.
II. PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS
Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall
do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit as necessary.
None.
III. MINUTES
A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, June 11, 2013
B. Approval of Special Meeting Minutes, June 25, 2013
Item tabled.
IV. BUSINESS
Discussion and Possible Action regarding:
A. Special Events for 2013 Season – Set pickling demo for 24th. Other events to get
scheduled: Ladybug fall garden, rainwater revival, talk with Sacred Moon, Soltice
(native plants).
B. Review of 2013 Vendor Applications – None pending.
C. Review of June and July Markets – Late hour still very slow. First hour is busier,
with new faces every week.
D. Proposed Hours for Remainder of 2013 Season – Will survey vendors.
E. Rules and Regulations for Service Providers and Non Profits – Kambra will add
“monetary” and bring final draft to next meeting.
F. Fiscal Year 2014 Budget – Will review final at next meeting.
G. Proposed Amendments to 2013 Market Rules and Regulations Regarding
Requirements for Vendor Eligibility – No action taken.

B. Farmers Market Board Association Meeting, August 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
