MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Marianne Simmons, Chair Gina Gillis Kambra Bolch Gouri Johannsen Sandy Pedrazas Aubrey Munguia Jo Ann Touchstone, Secretary Ralph Morren Marianne calls meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. All present except Gina Gillis and Kambra Bolch. Also present Market Manager Carolyn Hodges. II. PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit as necessary. No one speaks. III. MINUTES A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, February 18, 2014 – Ralph motion to approve. Sandy seconds. Motion passes, 5-0. IV. BUSINESS Discussion and Possible Action regarding: A. Review of February & March Markets – Pace is picking up. Discussed moving Kettle Korn. B. Review of Vendor Applications – Approved Vinovium Partners, tabled Christman Designs, and denied application from olive oil company (B2B Distribut Inc.) C. DS Farmers Market Co-Sponsorship of Annual Tomato Festival – Jo Ann reports committee is meeting regularly and event is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 at Founders Memorial Park. DSFM Vendors will be invited to participate. D. 2014 Advertising Expenses – Tabled. E. 2014 Special Events – Discussed possible dates for chef demo and Chuckwagon Days with the Poundhouse. V. REPORTS – Update on Annual TDA Certification and Market to Menu Grant – Jo Ann reports deadline is approaching and paperwork will be completed and mailed. VI. ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Regular City Council Meeting, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. B. Farmers Market Board Association Meeting, April 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. VII. ADJOURN Ralph motions to adjourn. Jo Ann seconds.
