• This will be rental of barricades for the Founders Day Parade. They will be interlocking
and metal. They are heavy and approximately 8’ long.
• Viking Fence will put them up and take them down.
• Would be used along the parade route except across the streets where plastic barricades

Founders Day
Bi-Monthly Meeting
02/26/2018
• Also being offered for free this year is a men’s fast lane unit.
• The commission agreed to take only 6 additional units this year which will reduce
the bid of $6300 that included all additional units.
• The commission agreed to use hand sanitizer stations instead of hand washing
stations because of replacing supplies and the cost. This will also reduce the bid
of $6300.
I. Security :
• Next month there will be discussion on blocking entrances/exits and where the
permanent barricades will be located.
• Old Fitzhugh security will be different this year with barriers located in an ‘S’
