Founders Day Commission Regular Meeting Minutes September 9, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. A Regular Meeting of the Founders Day Commission of Dripping Springs, Texas was held Monday, September 9, 2019 beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas. I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Commission Members present were: Brenda Medcalf, Chair Jake Adams, Vice Chair Brian Daniel Darrell Debish Sharon Goss Clinton Holtzendorf Michael Monaghan Brian Varnell Susan Warwick Commission Members absent were: Martin Garza Brad Thomas City Staff/Appointed Officials present was: Mariana Espinoza, Parks & Community Services Director With a quorum of the Commission present, Chair Medcalf called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. II. MINUTES A. Discuss and consider approval of the July 8, 2019 Founders Day Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. A motion was made by Commission Monaghan to approve the July 8, 2019 Founders Day Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. Commissioner Debish seconded the motion which carried unanimously 9 to 0. III. BUSINESS A. Discuss and consider appointments to Standing Committees. 1. Site Plan Committee 2. Founders Day Commission September 9, 2019 Regular Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 4  B. Discussion regarding the proposed FY 2019-2020 Founders Day Budget. The Commission discussed the addition of $4800.00 for barricades and keeping the contingency at least $15,000.00 Also discussed was the Locktite Storage unit which was previously donated, but not that location is under new management the unit will cost $60.00 monthly. C. Discuss and consider approval of the 2019 Sponsorship Letter and Levels. A motion was made by Commissioner Debish to approve the 2019 Sponsorship Letter and Levels with only the names of the Commissioners on the Founders Day Commission Sponsorship Committee on the letter (Commissioners Jake Adams, Darrell Debish and Brian Daniel). Commissioner Monaghan seconded the motion which carried unanimously 9 to 0. D. Discuss and consider recommendation regarding revisions to the Founders Day Festival Logo. A motion was made by Commissioner Monaghan to keep the Founders Day Logo from 2019. Commissioner Daniel seconded the motion, which carried unanimously 9 to 0. E. Discuss and consider recommendation regarding Amendments to the Founders Commission Ordinance. A motion was made by Commissioner Debish to postpone the item to the October IV.
