I. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chairman Ted Lehr calls the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and takes roll call. Present:
Commissioner Ted Lehr – Chair; Commissioner Kathryn Chandler; Commissioner Charlie
Haydon; Commissioner John Holdridge; Commissioner John McIntosh-Vice Chair; and
Commissioner Karl Seelbach . Absent: Commissioner Linda Freeman . Also in attendance are
Brenda Medcalf, Chair of the Founders Day Festival Commission and City Administrator
Michelle Fischer.
II. PRESENTATION BY CITIZENS-none given.
III. CONSENT
Discussion and Possible action regarding:
A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes, March 3, 2014
Commissioner Seelbach makes a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by
Commissioner Chandler. VOTE: all in favor. The motion is carried.
IV. BUSINESS
Discussion and Possible action regarding:
A. Mercer Street Community Giving Tree
1. Fundraising-Commissioners review the donations received to date.
2. Distribution of Posters and Brochures-Commissioners review the
locations of the brochures and discuss potential additional locations.
3. Construction-nothing to discuss at this time.
B. Participation in Founders Day Festival-Commissioners discuss with Ms. Medcalf
how they can assist with the Founders Day Festival. Commissioners discuss setting
up and manning their booth to sell Giving Tree leaves. Ms. Fischer will email a
volunteer schedule for Commissioners to volunteer for specific time periods.
C. Mercer Street Improvement Project Phase 2-no report or action on this item.

D. Walking Tour of City of Dripping Springs STP MM CAMPO Project CSJ:
0914-33-065: Mercer Street Pedestrian Improvement Project (Phase 1)
(Commissioners will walk along Mercer Street to tour the project)-
Commissioners tour the project area to insect the improvements, progress, and items
not yet completed.

A. Regular City Council Meeting, April 8, 2014, 5:30 p.m.
B. Regular Historic Preservation Commission Meeting, May 5, 2014, 5:30 p.m.
VI. ADJOURN-It starts raining quite hard. Commissioner Lehr adjourns the meeting at
6:10 pm.
