TAX INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE Board
(TIRZ) NUMBER 1 & NUMBER 2
OCTOBER 2, 2017
A regular meeting of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Board (TIRZ) Number 1 & Number
2 of the City of Dripping Springs was held Monday, October 2, 2017, beginning at 4:00 PM in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 511 Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas.

With a quorum of the members present, Chair Edwards called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
PRESENTATION OF CITIZENS
Floor open to discussion on any subject. No action may be taken by law. Citizens wishing to
speak shall do so after being recognized by the Chair. The Chair may establish a time limit as
necessary.
No one spoke during Presentation of Citizens.
MINUTES
Consideration and possible action on:
A. Approval of the Regular Meeting Minutes of August 7, 2017, and September 11, 2017.
A motion was made by Board Member Atwood to approve the August 7, 2017 and
September 11, 2017 regular meeting minutes. Board Member Figer seconded the motion,
which carried unanimously 4 to 0.

Discussion and possible action on:
A. Priority Projects Update
1. Architectural and Engineering Professional Services Agreements; Project Team
Kickoff and Site Visits 9/15/17
Project Manager Keenan Smith presented an update on the item.
2. Task Order #1 Timeline & Work Plans
a. Site Surveys and Base Information
b. Regional and District Drainage Strategies
d. Old Fitzhugh Road Concept Plan
e. Triangle Development Feasibility plus RR 12 / US 290 intersection
Keenan Smith presented a time line on items 2(a)(b)(d)(e).
c. Town Center Concept Plan
This item was not discussed.
B. Coordinate Stakeholder Work Sessions in October
1. Town Center Project: DSISD, DSCL, CODS, others
A work session has been scheduled with DSISD and DSCL on October 13, 2017.
2. Old Fitzhugh Road: Property Owners, Business Owners, others
A proposed Stakeholder meeting is tentatively scheduled for late October or early
November.
C. Town Center MOU Update
1. Stakeholder Approvals/Obligations
DSCL will send a signed copy of the MOU to the City Secretary.
D. Report on TIRZ Board Number 1 & Number 2 Site Trip Visit to Cedar Hill, Texas
to view a similar Town Center Project
Discussed the trip and shared their individual thoughts about the toured project site.
E. Public Relations Plan Regarding TIRZ Projects
This item was not discussed.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Board Member Atwood to adjourn the meeting. Board Member Figer
seconded the motion, which carried unanimously 4 to 0.
The regular meeting adjourned at 5:04 p.m.
