NEW BUSINESS 1. DISCUSSION: FY 2023-2024 BUDGET A. BUILDING  The Building department budget will decrease to $368,538.00. This includes a new full-time employee, a generator for the Development Services Building, and a new truck for the Building Department. B. PLANNING The Planning department budget will increase to $274,919.00. This includes an increase in engineering services due to growth, new development, and development review. C. POLICE The Law Enforcement Services budget will increase to $1,044,298.00. This includes a the annual increase to the PCSO contract, a safety patrol vehicle, a speed trailer and a message board. D. CODE ENFORCEMENT The Code Enforcement budget will increase to $114,008.00. This includes a new full-time employee and the payroll, benefits, and costs associated with same. E. FIRE The Fire department budget will decrease to $742,173.00. This includes a new mini pumper truck, a forcible entry door, and an NFPA Fit Test Machine. ADJOURNMENT at 6:19pm 8/8/2023
