DISCUSSION: FY 2023-2024 BUDGET A. WATER DEPARTMENT The Water Department budget will decrease to $3,211,394.00. The proposed budget includes, but is not limited to, capital investments (e.g., equipment trailer and two (2) new trucks) and an increase in professional services, software annual maintenance and utility services. B. SEWER DEPARTMENT The Sewer Department budget will decrease to $1,687,541.00. The proposed budget includes, but is not limited to, capital projects and investments, as follows: the expansion of the wastewater building, control room, and chlorine tank; the purchase of a by-pass pump; SCADA programming; and the purchase of a crane truck. C. TOWN COMMISSION The Town Commission budget will increase to $84,678.00. This includes an increase for travel and training, property and liability insurance and an increase in the election budget.
