APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Pennant opened the floor for public comment: being none, the floor was closed. A motion to approve the amended agenda with changes was made by Commissioner Goddard, seconded by Commissioner Wilson. Voting in favor: Commissioner Wilson, Commissioner Goddard, Vice Mayor Quarles, Mayor Pennant The motion passed unanimously. CONTINUED BUSINESS DISCUSSION & ACTION, 1. RESOLUTION 25-33, ADOPTION OF TENTATIVE BUDGET FY 2025 – 2026 TC Special Meeting, September 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Page 1 of 2 Attorney Claytor read the title into the record. Interim Town Manager Carbone read the analysis into the record. Assistant Town Attorney Claytor pointed out that the proposed Millage Rate of 7.9% is the same rate that the town has adopted for the past 4 years. Mayor Pennant opened the floor for public comments, seeing none, the floor was closed. 2. A motion to approve Resolution 25-33 ADOPTION OF TENTATIVE BUDGET FY 2025 – 2026 was made by Vice Mayor Quarles and seconded by Commissioner Wilson. Voting in favor: Commissioner Wilson, Commissioner Goddard, Vice Mayor Quarles, Mayor Pennant The motion passed unanimously. REPORTS FROM OFFICERS Polk County Sheriff’s Office – None Dundee Fire Department – None Town Attorney – No report Department Updates - No reports Town Manager – Interim Town Manager Carbone gave the following report: • Let the Commission know that Vice-Mayor Quarles will not be able to attend the regular Commission Meeting on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
