Dan Ellison moved to approve the minutes of the December 18 meeting, with corrections. Kenneth Rodgers seconded the motion. It was approved unanimously. Hough reported that he has revised the draft letter to the Central Park Board regarding its proposed public art project and that he wishes to speak with Matthew Coppedge, in Coppedge’s capacity as Chair of the Central Park Board, before the letter is sent. He will circulate a final proposed draft to the committee by email. Karen Slotta led the committee through a line by line review of the draft Public Art Program Implementation Guidelines. Slotta and Peter Coyle will make changes to the draft document based on their notes from that review. Coyle will circulate the revised draft to the committee prior to the next committee meeting. Slotta will draft a proposed deaccession policy and worksheet. Her hope is to do so in time for the next committee meeting. Slotta asked if Coyle could provide information about the proposed City Capital Improvement Plan budget for Fiscal year 2014. Coyle will provide that information at the next meeting. The meeting adjourned at 10:15 am. The next meeting will be January 22, 8:00 am.
