Dan Ellison moved to approve the minutes of the January 15 meeting. Jessica Moore seconded the motion. It was approved unanimously. Coyle reported that the City’s Capital Improvement Plan budget for FY 2014 is not yet finalized. The base budget will be similar to FY 2013 – around $800,000.00, but the major item to be decided, up to sixty million dollars for a new police headquarters, is not yet finalized. What the project will be and a recommendation as to what year’s budget the funds will be in have not yet been finalized by the City administration. Karen Slotta led the committee through a review of draft documents covering policies and procedures recommendations for the implementation of the City’s Public Art Policy. After extensive discussion, Kathy Bartlett moved to accept the content of the documents as amended by the committee to be a recommendation to the Cultural Advisory Board, with the provision that Coyle and the OEWD staff can make changes to the format and layout of the various documents and forms. Slotta seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:15a.m.
