CITY OF DUVALL CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES September 4, 2018 – 4:00 p.m. Riverview Educational Service Center – 15510 – 1st Ave NE Mayor Pro Tem Eyer called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. Council present: Matthew Eyer, Michelle Hogg, Mike Remington, Dianne Brudnicki (absent: Jason Walker, Jennifer Knaplund, Amy McHenry) Staff present: Lara Thomas, Lindsey Vaughn, Carey Hert, Larissa Grundell, Jodi Wycoff I. Good of the Order There were no items for Good of the Order. II. Items 1. City Council Budget Priorities Mayor Pro Tem Eyer explained that after scheduling the Budget Priorities discussion, it was determined that the discussion would not be productive at this point in the budget process. Council discussed that, in the future, they would like a budget priorities discussion before staff begins to work on the next budget. Jodi Wycoff, City Clerk, handed out and reviewed a calendar of regular and special meetings for the rest of 2018. Dorothy Lengyl, Duvall resident, asked Council if they will look at working with a financial advisor for long-term budget planning. Council agreed that is something they will be looking at. III.
