July 9, 2024 MINUTES OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE DWIGHT VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES Held in the Public Services Complex 209 South Prairie Avenue, Dwight Illinois July 9, 2024, at 4:00PM Pro-Tem Mayor Kinkade called the meeting to order at 4:00PM and asked for a roll call. PRESENT: Marla Kinkade, Trustee; Brian Berta, Trustee; Justin Eggenberger, Trustee; and Josh Jahn, Trustee ABSENT: Paul Johnson, Village President; Jenny Johnson; and Pete Meister, Trustee OTHER Village Officials in Attendance: Crissy Livingston, Village Administrator; Nick Ehrgott, Village Attorney; and Whitney Scott, Village Clerk Pro-Tem Mayor Kinkade requested a motion to enter into Executive Session under Open Meetings Act 2 (c) 1, Personnel. Trustee Jahn made a motion, with a second from Trustee Eggenberger, to enter into Executive Session at 4:02PM. Roll call. All voted aye. Motion carries, 4-0. The Board returned to regular session at 4:42PM with one action item from Executive Session. Trustee Kinkade made a motion, with a second from Trustee Berta, to place EMS Basic Bri Kelly on Administrative Leave, effective July 10, 2024, through approximately July 31, 2024, pending further investigation into personnel matters. Roll call. All voted aye. Motion carries, 4-0. Finding no further business, Pro Tem Mayor Kinkade made a motion, with a second rom Trustee Eggenberger, to adjourn the meeting. at 4:44PM.
