Library Board Agendas

East Grand Forks Campbell Library Board Meeting Minutes June 26, 2024 Present: Ryan Moe, Jen Dahlen, Marta Vanderpan, Renee Mabey, Dale Helms, Brendan Stermer, and Charlotte Helgeson I. President Moe called the meeting to order. II. A motion to accept the May 29, 2024, Meeting Minutes as amended, was made by J. Dahlen with a second by M. Vanderpan. Unanimous vote. III. A motion to approve June 2024 bills was made by M. Vanderpan with a second by D. Helms. Unanimous vote. IV. Old Business A. The updated Bylaws with corrections and additions were reviewed with a motion by J. Dahlen and a second by R. Mabey to approve. Unanimous vote. B. Summer Reading Program registration was closed because each session is filled, and registrants are attending at 100%. V. New Business A. Charlotte reviewed proposed budget changes for 2025 based on usage, changes in services and costs. Personnel numbers will be included when HR has completed FT adjustments and MN DEED has determined minimum wage for 2025. The review included changes in response to the following: 1. Education being done online 2. Weather and efficiencies for utilities 3. Changes in circulation of materials 4. Uptick in supplies B. Capitol or Building Improvements will include 1) Window sealing and 2) Gutters. A motion to adjourn was made by M. Vanderpan with a second by R. Mabey. Adjourned. The next meeting is set for Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 8 a.m. in the Library. 1
