MINUTES Village of East Troy Airport Advisory Committee June 11, 2018 1. Call to order – Meeting called to order at 7:05pm by John Jacoby 2. Roll Call ‐ Present – John Jacoby, Walter Watkins, Jim Stemper, Sam Taber, Mike 3. Citizen Participation – None 4. Motion to approve March minutes by Sam. Seconded by Jim. Carried. 5. Old Business: 6. New Business: 1. Airport Manager Report - Walter 1. FETA has met and has a plan in place to participate in an open house and the villages overall plan for activity. Still in progress, but moving forward. 2. Jim mentioned driving the airport property to help deduce where new signage might make sense. Also suggested changing gate codes to help minimize unwarranted traffic. Walter to talk to Jason/Lorri about notifying appropriate parties. 2. Grass mowing 1. John caught board up to speed with village meeting from last Monday. 2. Motion to have Walter and Jason touch base about next steps for making sure grass and farmland is maintained to ordinances and expectations. 3. Summer/fall events 1. FETA working on open-house for August 11 4. Compass Rose 1. Still planning 5. Signage 1. Airport folks to help identify exactly what signs need replacing or updating. 2. John to talk to Jason about getting a matching sign for the airport similar to library, parks, etc… 7. Motion to adjourn by Jim at 8:30pm. Seconded by John. 1.
