EAST TROY AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES January 9, 2023 Page 1 of 2 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call: Chairman Johnson called the meeting to order by at 7:00 p.m. Present: Chairman Johnson, JD Schreib, Mike Starck, Kim Weckerly, and Michael Zei Excused: Walter Watkins Others: Sam Taber Citizen Participation  Question from Sam Taber about NOTAM filings for runway closings during plowing. Approval of Minutes  Tabled until February meeting due to Walter Watkins not present.  Motion by Chairman Johnson; Seconded by Schreib. Passed unanimously. Standing and Old Business 1. Airport Manager’s Update a. Chairman Johnson provided status that DPW Director Equitz provided an insurance filing for the damaged gate. b. Chairman Johnson provided update to the committee that the Airport Manager Contract and FBO Amendment was approved. 2. Repairs Updates – No updates 3. PAPI Light Repairs by Highway Light Co. – Prior to Watkin’s vacation, he informed Stark the repairs are complete. Will confirm in February. 4. Water Questions – No updates in January. Will confirm in February. 5. ALP and Master Plan a. Per DPW Director Equitz on 12/14, Andy Trimble provided bids from two engineering firms, Strand and Westwood, and asked for input and would send scores to Andy Trimble the first week of January. 6. Leases – Chairman Johnson provided an update on the review of leases with legal counsel. New Business 1. Future Agenda Items a.
