COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY August 13, 2025 Page 1 of 1 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call Chairperson Holm called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present: Chairperson Jim Holm, President Johnson, Commissioners Jerry Curtin, John Isleb, Tyler Olson, and Elizabeth Scherbarth Excused: Absent: Others: Eileen Suhm, Administrator/CDA Executive Director New Business 1. Marketing service interviews a. A5 Branding & Digital b. APG Southern Wisconsin c. Acevox Each firm was granted 15 minutes to present to the CDA and the CDA followed up with questions for the firm. 2. Discussion and possible direction to staff regarding interviews and selection of marketing firm After conclusion of the interviews the CDA ranked the firms and discussed pros and cons. The order of preference for firms was: A5 Branding & Digital, APG Southern Wisconsin, and Acevox. The CDA did have concerns related to the location of Acevox’s staff being throughout the United States and envisioning how working with that firm would be both during the initial phase and ongoing support. APG Southern Wisconsin was thought to be more focused on tourism and may be a good fit for some Chamber assistance if there is an interest. They did present a data analytics platform they have licensing for that was of interest. A5 Branding & Digital was discussed to have the most relevant experience and approach. The proposal from A5 Branding & Digital was discussed. The CDA requested Executive Director Suhm contact the firm to get a better understanding of what is included in the campaign creative and marketing plan portion of the fundamental deliverables. Executive Director Suhm will request more details and reach out to the CDA to coordinate a follow up meeting. Next potential meeting date: September 22, 2025 Adjourn Motion by President Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Holm to adjourn at 8:16 p.m. Motion carried.
