COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY September 11, 2025 Page 1 of 1 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call Chairperson Holm called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Present: Chairperson Jim Holm, President Johnson, Commissioners Jerry Curtin, John Isleb, Tyler Olson, and Elizabeth Scherbarth Excused: Eileen Suhm, Administrator/CDA Executive Director Absent: Others: Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Minutes dated July 28, 2025 and August 13, 2025 Motion by Commissioner Isleb, second by Commissioner Curtin, to approve the minutes dated July 28, 2025. Motion carried. Motion by Commissioner Isleb, second by Commissioner Olson, to approve the minutes dates August 13, 2025. Motion carried. New Business 1. Review and Discussion of proposal from A5 Branding and Digital with possible recommendation to Village Board Motion by President Johnson, second by Chairperson Holm, to recommend to the Village Board A5’s Option A at $40.000. The CDA is authorized to direct staff and the Village President to approve up to $50,000 if needed during the project. The funds will come from the existing CDA allocation. Motion carried. 2. Discussion/Direction to staff regarding future meeting(s) with invitation for businesses to participate in discussion A list of businesses will be developed and A5 will provide options for kick-off dates with staff and the CDA. They will also provide a schedule of weeks for meetings with staff and the CDA, aimed at early to mid-October, and also with businesses. Old Business 1. Review of pending matters ranking There were no updates. The CDA members will review the Village’s website to educate themselves. Next potential meeting date: To be determined based upon A5’s recommendation. Adjourn Motion by President Johnson, seconded by Vice Chairperson Sherbarth, to adjourn at 7:02 p.m. Motion carried.
