COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY December 16, 2025 Page 1 of 2 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call Chairperson Holm called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. All attended the meeting via Teams. Present: Chairperson Jim Holm, Commissioners Jerry Curtin, John Isleb, Tyler Olson, and Elizabeth Scherbarth Excused: President Johnson Absent: Others: Eileen Suhm, Administrator/CDA Executive Director Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Minutes dated December 4, 2025 No action taken, minutes from the wrong meeting date were included with packet materials. New Business 1. Review and discussion regarding revisions to campaign development options and direction regarding continued development of campaign and deliverables A5 Branding & Digital (A5) representatives (John Harris, Juliane Allen, and Fletcher Martin) reviewed the revised concepts which incorporated the comments from the prior CDA meeting. The consensus was preference for the “Building with You” verbiage with the front from concept A and the yellow presented with less intensity than the initial concepts was acceptable. A5 will create a document reflecting these decisions. Juliane Allen discussed the next step, which is developing a marketing plan, and they will bring that back to the CDA for their feedback. Afterwards they will begin working on the creative applications. Other discussion included: • Preferred developing a microsite and President Johnson had previously mentioned to Executive Director Suhm he preferred the idea of building.eastttroywi.gov • Commissioner Curtin asked that A5 provide recommendations on how and where the Village markets to business • A dedicated conversation regarding some of the items for the marketing plan would be helpful for A5 • Photo options and businesses to include for creative campaign were presented by Executive Director Suhm under categories recommended by A5. Examples included: o 2 business - bookstore or coffee shop and Home on the Square o 2 industrial commercial buildings – MP/Pieper building and Max Apparel o Board and Staff – Village President and Administrator o Other – Gus’s, East Troy Electric Railroad, Overlook Ridge or The Lofts o Honey Creek Nature area drone imagery in spring o Students – Little Prairie Primary School  COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY December 16, 2025 Page 2 of 2 o Shared President Johnson’s idea of offering businesses that allow photography at their premises copies of the imagery to use in promoting their businesses, which was supported • Other suggestions from the CDA for photo options included: o Including single family or senior living housing images as the primary focus because that is what we are seeking o Booth Lake o Events on the square o Airport Old Business None Next potential meeting date: To be discussed at meeting. The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, January 13 at 6:00 p.m. via Teams. Adjourn Motion by Commissioner Isleb, seconded by Commissioner Scherbarth, to adjourn at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried.
