COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY March 24, 2026 Page 1 of 2 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call Chairperson Holm called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. All attended the meeting via Teams. Present: Chairperson Jim Holm, President Johnson, Commissioners Jerry Curtin, John Isleb, and Tyler Olson (attended remotely) Excused: Elizabeth Sherbarth Absent: Others: Eileen Suhm, Administrator/CDA Executive Director Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Minutes dated February 11, 2026 Motion by Commissioner Isleb, seconded by President Johnson to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried. New Business 1. Review and discussion regarding marketing plan, deliverables and budget for services provided by a5 Branding & Digital John Harris and Juliane Allen from a5 Branding & Digital (a5) attended the meeting. Photography from the first photoshoot was shared along with examples of website content. Another photoshoot is planned for a Friday in May. A5 will share website content next week with the group for review. Web domain options were presented, and the preference was the shortest, buildeasttroy.com. a5 will proceed with creation of a LinkedIn page for the Village as well. The status of the budget was discussed with just under the $40,000 expended. The website will require additional funds, the CDA discussed the additional $10,000 for deliverables. Motion by President Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Isleb, to authorize expenditures to go up to $50,000 if needed. Motion carried. 2. Discussion and direction to staff regarding Façade Grant program for 2026 Executive Director Suhm reviewed her memo. The CDA discussed opening a grant cycle by April 1 for applications to be submitted by April 30. A funding cap for this cycle of $40,000 was discussed. It will be promoted as a competitive cycle with limited funds.
