COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY February 11, 2026 Page 1 of 2 Call Meeting to Order Roll Call Chairperson Holm called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. All attended the meeting via Teams. Present: Chairperson Jim Holm, President Johnson, Commissioners Jerry Curtin, John Isleb, Tyler Olson, and Elizabeth Scherbarth Excused: Absent: Others: Eileen Suhm, Administrator/CDA Executive Director Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Minutes dated January 13, 2026 Motion by President Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Sherbarth, to approve the minutes dated January 13, 2026. Motion carried. New Business 1. Review and discussion regarding marketing plan presented by a5 Branding & Digital including review and discussion related to website concepts and a photoshoot Website • Website options were presented, featuring a Home Page and sections titled: About, Available Properties, Incentives (Working Together), and Contact. • Potential website graphics were reviewed, with two options presented. Feedback was requested on the content. o The CDA reached a consensus preferring the second website option, which featured a darker color at the bottom. Suggestions were made regarding the placement of the stamp in the top section. o A demo site link will be provided to the CDA for review and feedback before the site goes live. o The stamp will remain consistent as a header and footer on each page to serve as an identifier for the economic development website. o Under the community section of the site map, adding healthcare and social services was discussed. o Additional suggestions included adding quality of life features, such as parks, annual festivals, and events as well as workforce information. • A contact form on the website will send information to an email inbox. This can generate an inquiry, which may be loaded into an Excel sheet or, if available, directly into a CRM. Commissioner Isleb was excused from the meeting at 6:30 p.m.  COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES VILLAGE OF EAST TROY February 11, 2026 Page 2 of 2 Photoshoot Plans for an early March photoshoot were reviewed, with locations and subjects including 2894 on Main, MP Systems, Village Staff, East Troy High School, and Briohn Building. CDA members also suggested Alpine Valley skiing and Booth Lake. Budget Priorities include updating the website, collateral, email templates, social media (including a LinkedIn account), and virtual staff backgrounds. The rollout is scheduled for March or April, followed by a press release. Next Steps Website details will be shared with the group. They will coordinate photography, develop content, and continue work on the discussed items. Old Business None Next potential meeting date: Scheduled for March 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and discussed as a virtual Teams meeting.
