Call Meeting to Order; Pledge of Allegiance
Administrator Suhm verified the meeting was posted according to law.
Roll Call:
President Seager called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Present: President Scott Seager, Trustees John Alexander, Alexander Alger, John J. Jacoby,
Matt Johnson and Forty Renucci
Excused:
Others: Administrator Suhm, Attorney Chris Geary (via phone)
Citizen Participation
No citizen participation.
Miscellaneous Business
Update and consideration of offer to purchase submitted for tax key #s RXUP 00256 and
RA314100001, review of terms of offer subject to 30-day review period, and
consideration/possible action as to due diligence-related costs.
Attorney Geary explained the Board was convening because the 30-day contingency to locate a
developer regarding the property purchase will expire on Sunday, March 18, 2018. He
explained the progress on due diligence and reviewed proposals received for Phase I
environmental testing. The Board discussed the expenditure and providing educational
information to the public on the decision.
Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by President Seager to notify MLG the Village will waive
the 30-day contingency to locate a developer. Motion carried.
Motion by Trustee Johnson, second by Trustee Alexander to select the Reese Group proposal for
Phase I environmental testing. Motion carried.
Adjourn
Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by Trustee Johnson to adjourn at 6:21 p.m. Motion carried.

Citizen Participation
Per Village Resolution 2017-01, anyone wishing to address the Village Board during Citizen Participation will be allowed 5 minutes. Your subject
can be anything whether on the agenda or not. The Village Board should not engage in a discussion regarding comments because it was not
part of the publicly noticed agenda.
Upon conclusion of this Citizen Participation segment, members of the audience are not allowed further comment unless they are participating
in a public hearing or if specifically allowed by a majority vote of the Village Board due to involvement in an agenda item.
