Citizen Participation
Per Village Resolution 2017-01, anyone wishing to address the Village Board during Citizen Participation will be allowed 5 minutes. Your subject
can be anything whether on the agenda or not. The Village Board should not engage in a discussion regarding comments because it was not
part of the publicly noticed agenda.
Upon conclusion of this Citizen Participation segment, members of the audience are not allowed further comment unless they are participating
in a public hearing or if specifically allowed by a majority vote of the Village Board due to involvement in an agenda item.
Consent Agenda
(One motion and second will approve all of the following items. Any item may be pulled from the list and voted on separately.)
1. Approval Minutes – 4/2/2018
2. Consider approval of Special Event Permit for East Troy Youth Baseball/Softball 2018
Summer Season at Mitchell Park Fields (1, 2 & 3) and Center Field for 43 days (see
application for specific dates), Ben Gorres/Tony LaShay, Event Chairpersons.

3. Consider granting Special Event Permit to East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce for the
East Troy Farmers Market, Vanessa Lenz, Chamber Director, Event Chairperson, on the
Village Square, Fridays, May 25 to October 5 (20 days) from 2-6 pm (noon to 7 pm incld.
setup and tear down):
a. With the understanding that other organizations may also be allowed to use the
Square for events as applied for during these months and that no special
accommodations will be made for vendors due to the East Troy Cycling Classic
Bike Race road closures on June 22.
b. List of vendors to be provided by May 5
4. Consider approval of:
a. Special Event Permit & Temporary Class B Retailer’s License to East Troy Area Chamber of
Commerce for Corn & Brat Roast, Vanessa Lenz, Chamber Director, Event Chairperson, May
25 (4 pm to 8 pm), 26 and 27 (11 am – 6:30 pm) and 28 (10 am – 5 pm), 2018 on the Village
Square.
i. Temporary Class B License application signature to be provided
b. Beer Walk Permit & 1 Temporary Class B Retailer’s License to East Troy Area Chamber of
Commerce for Brewfest, Vanessa Lenz, Chamber Director, Event Chairpersons, Sunday, May
27, 2018 (3 – 6 pm, 6-6:30 pm incld. clean-up) on the Village Square to be held concurrently
with the Corn & Brat Roast, with single point of samples served for paid participants within
the Craft Brewers area.
i. Temporary Class B License application signature to be provided
Note: The Farmers Market will be held on Friday May 25 from 2-6 pm as both events are
sponsored by the Chamber and will be coordinated.
5. Consider approval of:
a. Special Event Permit for East Troy Chamber of Commerce, First Fridays Food Truck
Fest, June 1, 2018, 2 pm to 8 pm, Vanessa Lenz, Chamber Director, Event
Chairperson.
b. Temporary Class B Beer License for the East Troy Chamber of Commerce First
Fridays Food Truck Fest, June 1, 2018, 2 pm to 8 pm, Vanessa Lenz, Chamber
Director, Event Chairperson.
i. Contingent upon providing list of food vendors participating.
6. Consider use of Equipment Replacement Funds for replacement of sludge pump at WWTP

1. Recommendation from Plan Commission to approve conditional use for a detached
accessory building pursuant to s. 51-47(J) of the zoning code located at 1964 Fremont
Street (REA 00049), Robert M Tuler, applicant
2. Provide direction for 2019 Sidewalk Project
3. Consideration of designating advisory committee for revolving loan fund application
review
4. Update on proposed asphalt replacement at Rossmiller Park
5. Consider awarding bid for 2018 Parking Lot Project
6. Consideration and direction on possible street scape plan for Village Square
