Citizen Participation
Per Village Resolution 2017-01, anyone wishing to address the Village Board during Citizen Participation will be allowed 5 minutes. Your subject
can be anything whether on the agenda or not. The Village Board should not engage in a discussion regarding comments because it was not
part of the publicly noticed agenda.
Upon conclusion of this Citizen Participation segment, members of the audience are not allowed further comment unless they are participating
in a public hearing or if specifically allowed by a majority vote of the Village Board due to involvement in an agenda item.
Consent Agenda
(One motion and second will approve all of the following items. Any item may be pulled from the list and voted on separately.)
1. Approval Minutes – 3/21/2022
2. Consider approval of hangar lease assignment for Hangar S-9, Gene Wilber
3. Consider approval of Special Event application from Legion Baseball, Christopher Bayley,
applicant, for the Grandstand Field, June 8, 9, 13 and 17, 4:30 pm to 9 pm.
4. Consider approval of Parade Application for American Legion Post 188 for Veterans
Service, Village Square Park, May 30, 2022, from 10 am to noon, from Beulah Ave. to the
Village Square. They request all fees be waived.
5. Consideration of Police Chief’s recommendation to hire Sean Cottini as a full-time police
officer
6. Consider write-off of uncollectible Accounts Receivable
Miscellaneous Business
1. Consider approval of application by East Troy Key Club for a special event at the Dog Park
on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 1 – 3 pm, to dedicate two (2) trees and agility equipment
to the park, Event Chairperson Shannon Venegas. Contingent upon receipt of Certificate
of Insurance.
2. Consideration of recommendation from CDA to award the following façade grants up to
the maximum amounts listed (match required):
a. J&S On Main LLC - $20,000 (2893 Main Street)
b. Stadesplein Properties, LLC - $20,000 (2787 Main Street)
c. East Troy LLC - $17,500 (2097 Division Street)
3. Consideration of donation to support Walworth County’s clean sweep program
4. Consideration of participation in Department of Natural Resources’ drinking water PFAS
sampling program
5. Consideration of 12/31/2021 fund balance designations
Ordinances & Resolutions
1. Resolution 2022-05 – Consider amending Res. 2021-21 Creating New Wards based on
2020 Census to add 2 wards to accommodate new Congressional District lines.
