Roll Call: President Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Present: President Johnson, Trustees John Alexander, Jim Holm, Mary Nugent, Forty Renucci, Jason Smalley and Joe Wisnewski Others: DPW Director Equitz, Administrator Suhm, Clerk Alexander, Attorney Geary Remote Meeting with Public Access for Viewing via YouTube Closed Session Motion by President Johnson, second by Trustee Alexander, to adjourn to closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session (Airport Manager and Fixed Base Operator Lease). Motion carried on at roll call vote: President Johnson Y Trustee Alexander Y Trustee Holm Y Trustee Nugent Y Trustee Renucci Y Trustee Smalley Y Trustee Wisniewski Y Motion by President Johnson, second by Trustee Smalley, to return to open session. Motion carried. Miscellaneous Business 1. Consideration and Possible Action to Terminate Airport Contracts a. Fixed Based Operator (FBO) Lease b. First Amendment to Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Lease c. Second Amendment to Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Lease d. Airport Manager DPW Equitz provided an update to the Board regarding the meeting with Mr. Watkins on Monday and the walk through he did at the FBO building. Mr. Watkins has subleased the hangar for aircraft storage and when asked what a reasonable timeframe to vacate the building would be he asked that the sublease through the end of July be honored, and he be allowed to keep his personal items in the hangar until July 31, 2023. Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by Trustee Renucci, to terminate the four airport contracts listed on the agenda and authorize the Village Attorney and DPW Equitz to draft an agreement for Board approval allowing Mr. Watkins access to the FBO hangar until July 31, 2023, or until he has vacated the premises with a signed hold harmless agreement from the Village Attorney and final payment to Aviator Services LLC to be held until vacated and to authorize DPW Equitz to offer up to $500 for the existing furniture in the pilot lounge. Consider appointment of Doug Gauger, DPW Employee, as Interim Airport Manager Motion by President Johnson, second by Trustee Renucci, to direct DPW Equitz to appoint Doug Gauger the interim Airport Manager. Motion carried. President Johnson thanked Mr. Watkins for his service at the airport. Adjourn Motion by Trustee Alexander, second by President Johnson, to adjourn. Motion carried at 5:33 pm.
