Call Meeting to Order; Pledge of Allegiance
Clerk Smith verified the meeting was posted according to law.
Roll Call:
President Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Present: President Johnson, Trustees Bryan Harding, Jim Holm, Dan Moody, Mary Nugent,
Scott Seager, and Joe Wisniewski
Excused:
Others: Chief Swendrowski, Administrator Suhm, DPW Director Equitz, Clerk Smith
Citizen Participation
Gene Rozmarynowski, 2968 Main St., read a statement to voice his support for Victor and
Magnolia Stanford and their renovation project at 2954 Main St.
Consent Agenda
1. Approval Minutes – 12/15/25, 12/22/25
2. Consider approval of Class “A” Combination Liquor License for Jay Goga 2884 LLC,
Shaileshkumar Patel as Agent, contingent upon the sale of current business
3. Consider renewal of two-year lease agreement (2026-2027) with Little Angels Day
Care Inc. at the Austin St Garage
Motion by Trustee Seager, second by Trustee Nugent, to approve the consent agenda as
presented. Motion carried.
Miscellaneous Business
1. Discussion regarding information from Walworth County related to safety measures
being investigated for the intersection of Townline Road and Highway ES (no packet
materials)
DPW Director Jason Equitz told the board that Rich Hough, Director of Walworth County Public
Works, said the County is investigating making the intersection of Highway ES and Townline
Road a four-way stop. Chief Swendrowski said there had been quite a few accidents at the
intersection, but that the majority of them appear to be caused by driver error. President
Johnson asked if the County could put in a flashing stop sign and if anything would be changed
with the planned resurfacing of Townline Road to the north of the intersection. Director Equitz
said he did not think there would be changes, other than perhaps markings on the pavement.

discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of
any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations
and 19.85(1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation
data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility. (DPW & police department)
Motion by President Johnson, second by Trustee Seager, to adjourn to closed session at 6:43
pm. Motion carried on at roll call vote:

Per Village Resolution 2017-01, anyone wishing to address the Village Board during Citizen Participation will be allowed 5 minutes. Your subject
must specifically relate to matters under the jurisdiction of the Village Board, whether on the agenda or not. The Village Board should not
engage in a discussion regarding comments because it was not part of the publicly noticed agenda. Upon conclusion of this Citizen Participation
segment, members of the audience are not allowed further comment unless they are participating in a public hearing or if specifically allowed
by a majority vote of the Village Board due to involvement in an agenda item.
