Tuesday, June 23, 2020
In Attendance:
Commissioner Murison Police Chief, Rick Johnson
Commissioner Shennum Guild Representative, Dane Simmons
Commissioner Smet City Attorney, Devin Poulson
Secretary/ Chief Examiner, Merriah Barnett City Clerk, Maria Holman
5: 36 p. m. Civil Service Commission
Councilmember Shennum opened the meeting.
1.
Approval of minutes of March meeting.
Commissioner Murison moves to accept the minutes of the meeting,
Commissioner Shennum seconds. Motion carries
2.
Discussion on how the Commission will handle matters of personnel
documentation when deemed a necessity.
3.
Discussion regarding updating Civil Service Rules and Regulations moving
forward, with a draft copy provided to all. Requests for input from everyone.
4.
Discussion about the rule of three and five for hiring.
5. Commissioner Murison announces his retirement from Civil Service effective
Immediately.
