Glendale Bridge. Glendale Bridge is going to need repair soon. A memo was sent to all board members about the condition of the bridge. Greg is going to look into a firm to inspect and give a idea of a cost of the repairs or replacement of the bridge. 5. Vote on a date that the Easthampton Board of Public Works shall hold a Public Hearing on the Establishments of new Water and Sewer Fees and Rates to cover a Department of Public Works FY21 Shortfall on Thursday, June 25th, 2020, at 6pm. Letter from Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee. Beth Tiffany and Paul Nowak from the Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee came to the meeting. The committee would like the DPW to be proactive to remove debris from the damn. Greg agreed to inspect it weekly for debris. Some of the debris is out of reach. They do not have the equipment to get all the debris. Due to safety reasons they need to figure out to remove it safely. 7. Director’s Report System wide leak detection happens every 3 years and that is happening now and will continue until they have done the whole city. DPW field staff all have returned to the normal work schedule.
