Continued Discussion of FY22 DPW Budget and Rate Review Greg will have numbers for the board at the March 3rd and then further discussion will continue on the budget and rate review. 5. Director’s Report Happy to report that the City reached an agreement with the DPW Union in their last negotiation session. This agreement represents a major step forward for Public Works and I greatly appreciate the Mayor's willingness to help pull this together. I am still awaiting exact figures and will have more details regarding this agreement at our meeting on March 3. The Honeywell Energy Service Contract Project is moving forward nicely. We have completed water conservation, building envelope and HVAC surveys at the Water Department, WWTP, Public Safety Complex and Council on Aging. This project is creating an excellent opportunity for the City to make some large energy conservation investments and upgrade building systems. I will keep the board informed as this project moves forward. All is well with snow operations, DPW crews have been pretty busy dealing with the multiple small snow events this month. We have had a few relatively small equipment issues but DPW staff continues to do a great job keep city roads safe. I will have more information for the Board regarding the FY2022 Budget, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and Union agreement at our meeting on March 3rd.
