City Council - Appointment Committee

City of Easthampton Appointment committee Meeting Minutes February 5, 2020. Attending . Councilors: Homar Gomez, JP kwiecinski, William Lynch Public present Austin Sanders and Joseph McCoy Meeting start at 5:30 pm at room A at 50 Payson Ave. 1. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. Motion by councilor Kwiecinski second by councilor Gomez Vote was 2 on favor one abstain 2. Public Speak Time. None 3. Re appointments Jason Miranda for Telecom Advisory committee exp term 12/31/2022 , the appointment committee decide to table it until the committee have more info about this appointment. 4. New appointments a) Austin Sanders planing board ( Associate member) term expires 12/31/2020 Mr Sanders was present in this meeting , Councilor Lynch asked Mr Sanders about his education and work back ground. Mr Sanders is a resident of Easthampton and he is a member of the Board of public work Motion was made by councilor Gomez Second by councilor Kwiecinski . Vote was 3-0 B) Joseph McCoy – Easthampton Housing Authority term expiration 12/3/2024 Mr. McCoy was present at the metting Mr. McCoy served as a city council and was the President of the Easthampton city council Mr. McCoy explains the reasons why he want a serve in this committee and what he can bring new to the housing authority committee. Motion was made by councilor Kwiecinski second by councilor Gomez Vote was 3-0 C) Brenda Salyer – Planing Board term expires 12/31/2022 Brenda sent the resume to Councilor Lynch and she sent a email to the committee to let the committee know why she have interest in serving in this committee .
