Minutes from 2/23/2021 were approved 3-0 (motion zaret, second Peake) were approved

Old business
Acessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)
Revised language from meeting on 3/9/2021 was presented by councilor Peake and reviewed
Highlights of the discussion included:
Allow owner occupied primary units by right, and non owner occupied primary units by special
permit
To Allow conversion of preexisting units by right to a single unit, and more by permit
Set size limits to 900 square feet for ADUs by right, larger with special permit
Set backs were reviewed and consideration was proposed to change
Multifamily Units
Proposed language introduced and reviewed by councilor Peake
Requirements for special permit versus by permit only were reviewed including percentage of
affordbale units with the threshold at 15%
Discussed scaling percentage of affordable units from 15% for 80% AMI to 10% for 50% AMI
Parking spaces were also discussed
Cannabis delivery
Councilor Zaret asked Mr Bagg if there were any questions about the marijuana delivery
amendments prior to the 4/13 joint public hearing. The planner stated there was some
confusion between definitions for delivery operator versus courier and about parking
requirements.
Councilor Zaret asked that any concerns or questions be relayed an forwarded to him with
plenty of time prior to the joint public hearing.
Discussion was continued to the next meeting April 6 at 6 PM
Meeting was adjourned (motion zaret, second peake) vote 3-0
