Discussion about pay plan adjustment- Public health inspector
Russo - let the committee know that the health inspector was not in the pay plan and are
bringing back before the position gets filled again.
- No person in that role
- Role is changing a little
- Health agent is covering inspections
- Responsibilities have been reviewed
Motion from Councilor Peake and seconded by Councilor Derby to send the classification and
pay plan by adding health inspector, back to the full council. Approved 2-0
Discussion on the senior tax work off program from a pilot to a permanent part of the city
and controlled by the senior center.
Peake asked if the program would sunset.
Discussion about the process
General question: Can work be done by seniors at the library?
Councilor Kwiecinski did not think it would be need to be renewed
President Gomez thinks ordinance is good as it will protect
Gomez: We can just continue the program.
Derby: Should have sample language for next meeting
LED sign discussion
Derby: review current LED sign ordinance
Peake: Are there safety concerns? Is it by right? Will they need a special permit?
Derby: Permitting process and costs, planning board review
Peake: Motion to adjourn at 6:40
