Members present: Councilor Zaret, Councilor Riley, Councilor Derby

(Easthampton Healthy Youth Coalition Coordinator), Wendy Penner (Northampton Health Department)
Meeting called to order by Councilor Zaret at 6:00 pm via Zoom
1. Public Speak Time: N/A
2. Approval of the April’s meeting notes:
Minutes to be approved on May 3rd meeting.
3. New Business:
Members of the Easthampton Healthy Youth Coalition and Health Departments of Easthampton and
Northampton gave a presentation on Narcan boxes in the City of Easthampton. All Narcan boxes are
funded through the DART program at no cost to the city. May 16th @ 6 pm training open to the
community. Committee members asked questions specific to the program and its management. May
2nd dedication ceremony at 50 Payson @ 9 am.
4. Continuing Business:
The following agenda items will be deferred to the May 3rd meeting.
Request to review the safety of the South St./ Main St. sidewalk & also a review of a 4-way
traffic light at the Main St. & South St. intersection.
Ordinance Review Committee’s final report review
Review of the use of electric speed monitoring signs.
Next regular meeting: May 3rd at 6:00 pm.
Councilor Derby made a motion to adjourn, and Councilor Riley seconded. Vote: 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 6:28 pm.
