May 3, 2022
Members present: Councilor Zaret, Councilor Riley, Councilor Derby
Members absent:
Also in Attendance: Public Works Director Greg Nuttelman, Councilor Gomez
Meeting called to order by Councilor Zaret at 6:01 pm
1. Public Speak Time:
None.
2. Approval of the March and April meeting notes:
Councilor Derby made a motion to approve March 23, 2022, minutes. Councilor Zaret seconded,
Vote: 2-1 Approved, Councilor Riley abstained.
Councilor Derby made a motion to approve April 27, 2022, minutes. Councilor Riley seconded, Vote:
3-0 Approved.
3. Department of Public Works report:
Director Nuttelman gave a quarterly update on the Public Works department, upcoming
construction projects and the status of fleet, facilities, and bridges. Committee members engaged in
a question-and-answer process during the presentation.
4. Continuing Business:
Request to review safety of the South St./Main St. sidewalk & also a review of a 4-way traffic
light at South St. / Main St. intersection.
Committee members had a conversation with Director Nuttelman regarding cost estimates,
funding, and timelines.
Next regular meeting: June 7, 2022 at 6:00pm.
Councilor Derby made a motion to adjourn, and Councilor Riley seconded. Vote: 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:18 pm.
