The meeting was recorded. No minutes were approved. 1. CONTINUING BUSINESS A. Precinct Redistricting based on 2020 Federal Census Numbers The state provided an initial view of the new district delineations at last Rules meeting. The committee requested the state make a second pass to eliminate some strange decisions and split street between districts. Tonight’t discussion revolved around the merits of each and which would be recommended to the full City Council for a Vote on 10/20/2021. Councilor Peake like the revised map because it keeps downtown neighborhoods in tact to a greater degree than the prior map. Councilor Gomez did not love the new changes but will abide by the recom- mendation of this committee.  Councilor Kwiecinski felt the changes were creative and thanked Councilor Peake for making these recommendations. Motion to recommend Redistricting Map Version 2 by Councilor Rist, Second by Councilor Conniff. Passed 3-0 6:21 pm - Meeting adjourned Next Meeting: TBD
